Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Who we are

BIGBANG ITS FZE ("BIGBANG ITS", "we" or "us") is a Free Zone Establishment registered in the United Arab Emirates, providing information technology services since 2003. Its head office is at SRTIP, Block B-B57-196, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. BIGBANG ITS FZE operates the website www.its.qa for customers in Qatar and is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@its.qa or on WhatsApp at ⁦+1 (667) 222-1616⁩.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.its.qa, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. Read it together with our Cookie Policy (/cookie-policy/) and our Terms and Conditions (/terms-and-conditions/), which incorporate it by reference.

Ordering, creating a client account, paying invoices and opening support tickets all happen on our client portal at portal.its.ae, not on this website. The portal is operated by the same company, and the privacy and cookie policy published for the portal applies to the data processed there, including billing details, payment records and domain registration data.

Information we collect on this website

  • Contact form: your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, company, the service you are interested in and your message. The form sends your message by email to info@its.qa so that our team can reply. The website itself does not keep a copy in a database.
  • Email and WhatsApp: if you write to info@its.qa or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your email address or phone number, your name as it appears, and what you write.
  • Technical records: like any website, our web server keeps standard logs of requests, including your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, which we use to keep the site secure and working.
  • Theme preference: if you press the theme button, a cookie named theme stores the word "light" or "dark". It contains no personal data.

Visitors do not create accounts on www.its.qa, and we never ask for card or bank details on this website.

Why we use your information, and our legal basis

We use personal data to answer your enquiries, prepare quotations, provide the services you order, keep the website and our systems secure, prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations.

Our legal bases are: taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing our contract with you; legal obligations, including accounting and tax rules and lawful requests from authorities; our legitimate interests in securing our systems and preventing abuse, where they do not override your rights; and your consent where we ask for it. We send marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@its.qa, without affecting earlier processing.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

www.its.qa uses only two cookies: the theme preference cookie described above, and a secure session cookie that only our own staff receive when they sign in to the site management area. The site uses no analytics or statistics tools, no advertising or social-media tracking pixels, and no cookies that identify you, which is why it does not show a consent banner. Its fonts are served from our own server. Our Cookie Policy (/cookie-policy/) gives the details. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy first and ask for your consent before they run.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data, and we disclose it only to the following recipients, each only so far as it needs it.

  • Hosting provider: the company that operates the servers running www.its.qa and our info@its.qa mailbox.
  • WhatsApp: when you message us on WhatsApp, the chat is carried by WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta, and is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Service partners: when you order a service, the partners needed to deliver it, such as payment processors, domain registries and certificate authorities, receive the data they require through our client portal, as described in the portal's policy.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: auditors, accountants and lawyers bound by confidentiality, and authorities and courts where disclosure is required by law or necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Where your information is stored, and international transfers

The servers that run www.its.qa and the info@its.qa mailbox are located in Germany, in the facilities of our hosting provider, so data you send us from Qatar is transferred outside Qatar. We transfer personal data only where it is necessary to answer your request or perform our contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or with your consent, never more than that purpose requires, and we protect it as described in this policy. Data held in the services you order from us (such as hosting, email, servers and backups) is stored in the location of that service: our infrastructure runs in Germany, Finland, the UAE and the USA, and other locations are available on request. We tell you the location before setup.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any relationship that follows, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. The theme cookie lasts one year, and you can delete it at any time. Data held on the client portal is kept as described in the portal's policy.

How we protect your information

Traffic to and from www.its.qa is encrypted in transit with current versions of the TLS protocol, and access to the site management area and to our mailboxes is limited to authorised staff. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we act without delay and notify those affected and the competent authority to the extent the law requires.

Your rights, and how to exercise them

Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 of the United Arab Emirates on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to be informed about the processing of your data; to receive the data you gave us in a portable form, where processing rests on consent or a contract; to correction and erasure, subject to legal retention obligations; to restriction of processing in the cases the law allows; to stop processing, including for direct marketing; and to object to decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

For customers in Qatar, we also handle personal data in line with the State of Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection. Under that law you may be informed of how your data is processed, obtain a copy of it, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent, and object to processing, and we send you direct marketing only with your prior consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@its.qa or open a ticket at https://portal.its.ae/submitticket.php. We will ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not disclose your data to someone else, and we answer without undue delay. The first request is free; a manifestly unfounded, repetitive or excessive request may be refused or carry a reasonable fee, with reasons given.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults, and our Terms and Conditions require you to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data, and if we learn that we hold it, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, our services or the law change. The current version is the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top, and we will draw attention to any material change before it takes effect.

How to contact us, and how to complain

For any question about this policy or your personal data, email info@its.qa, message us on WhatsApp at ⁦+1 (667) 222-1616⁩, open a ticket at https://portal.its.ae/submitticket.php, or write to BIGBANG ITS FZE at the address above.

If you believe that we have not handled your personal data properly, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office, and, if you are in Qatar, to the authority responsible for personal data protection in the State of Qatar.

Related policies: Terms and Conditions (/terms-and-conditions/), Refund Policy (/terms-policy/refund-policy/) and Cookie Policy (/cookie-policy/).
