A Second Check That Stops Most Break-Ins

Two-factor sign-in for your hosting, email and business applications, because a password on its own is no longer enough protection.

Verifying identity and controlling access

Double-Lock Your Accounts With Two-Factor Authentication

Passwords get guessed, reused and stolen in phishing campaigns every day, so depending on them alone is a serious risk. Two-factor authentication (2FA) from BIGBANG ITS adds a second proof of identity, such as a push notification on a phone, an SMS code or a hardware key, so a leaked password is no longer enough for someone to take over an account and reach your systems or confidential data.

We roll out multi-factor authentication (MFA) across the whole of your environment: staff login portals, VPN access, cloud applications and sensitive databases. The aim is strong protection without frustrating the people who use it, so your team can work securely from anywhere and your most valuable assets sit behind a door with two locks that only authorised people can open.

What Our 2FA Service Offers

Modern authentication methods

We support both U2F security keys and TOTP authenticator codes, giving you flexible, current options that suit different users and keep pace with new threats.

Works with what you already run

2FA plugs into your existing web applications, cloud services and VPNs, adding a layer of security without disrupting day-to-day work.

Easy for users

Security only works if people use it. U2F keys are simple to tap and TOTP works almost everywhere, so your users get strong protection with little effort.

Live support 24/7

Our engineers guide you from the first setup through ongoing operation, so the rollout goes smoothly and protection stays in place.

For Qatar

Two-Factor Authentication for Teams in Qatar

Points that matter for Qatari organisations rolling out 2FA.

Supporting your data protection duties

Qatar's personal data protection law (Law No. 13 of 2016) expects organisations to prevent unauthorised access to personal data. 2FA on email, hosting and business systems is a practical control that supports that duty; your legal advisers confirm what the law requires of you.

Guidance in Arabic or English

Staff can be walked through enrolment and recovery in Arabic or English, which helps when a team works across both languages.

Lockouts handled at the weekend

A lost phone on a Friday should not lock someone out until Sunday. Our team can be reached on Friday and Saturday at info@its.qa or on WhatsApp at ⁦+1 (667) 222-1616⁩.

Billed in QAR, delivered remotely

Rollouts are quoted on request and invoiced in Qatari riyals through our client portal. We have no office in Qatar and carry out the work remotely.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is 2FA and why does it matter?

Two-factor authentication asks for two separate proofs of identity before an account opens. A stolen password alone is useless to an attacker, because they still need the second factor, such as a code from an authenticator app or a message to your phone.

How should 2FA work for automated systems and APIs?

Classic 2FA is designed for people and can break automation such as CI/CD pipelines and API integrations. Those systems should instead use service accounts with narrow permissions, API keys or personal access tokens. For SSH, use SSH keys combined with mechanisms such as PAM. In high-security environments, just-in-time access grants temporary rights only after verification.

What is the difference between TOTP and HOTP?

TOTP (time-based one-time password) creates a fresh code every 30 to 60 seconds and is what apps like Google Authenticator use; it depends on the server and device clocks staying in sync. HOTP (HMAC-based one-time password) uses a counter instead of the clock, and each code is valid only once when it is requested.

How should 2FA secret keys be stored?

Never in plain text. Secrets must be encrypted at rest with strong algorithms such as AES-256. For more protection, keep the encryption keys in a hardware security module (HSM) or a key management service (KMS), so the secrets stay safe even if the database is breached.

Where can we switch 2FA on?

Hosting control panels, business email and most modern business applications.

What if an employee loses their phone?

Backup codes and recovery options are set up during configuration, so a lost device never means losing access for good.

Can our staff in Qatar get setup help in Arabic?

Yes. We can guide employees through enrolment and account recovery in Arabic or in English.

How is a 2FA rollout billed for a company in Qatar?

Contact info@its.qa or WhatsApp ⁦+1 (667) 222-1616⁩ for a quote based on your users and systems. Invoices are issued in QAR through the client portal.
